SCORM stands for Sharable Content Object Reference Model and is in essence a standard of criteria that Learning Content Management Systems should be built to allowing the production of small, reusable e-learning objects.
The standard came about as a result of the US Department of Defence's Advanced Distributed Learning Initiative.
As a benefit SCORM is a very powerful addition to any Learning Content Management System as it allows instant one-click upload and publishing of any courses that have been authored in a SCORM compliant tool, removing any additional time and cost for manual course implementation.
Alongside this facility any course material authored in our solutions can be exported from the system and added to any outside LMS systems if required.
