Eventure's approach to a content authoring solution has been built for users with limited experience of using IT software and with as little as an hour of training they can be creating engaging interactive learning material.
Our content management solution called Open Box Editing has been designed solely with the end user in mind ensuring the greatest ease of use within an online editing environment.
This system is created bespoke to the site it is operational with, eliminating the need for administrator experience and Eventure are confident that with as little as one hour of training the administrators will be competent enough to manipulate content changes without hesitation and more importantly will return to the system each time without the need to re-familiarise themselves with how to use it.
Open Box Page Editing
We have a new approach for the management of page content and the publishing of information within Open Box and have developed a system based around the creation of individual content blocks as opposed to an open WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) editing environment which is common within the majority of competitor applications.
The benefits of this process are instantly visible with the most significant advantage being ease of use allowing a user with limited IT skills to author content after only 60 minutes of training.
However the ease of use does not constrain the flexibility and design within the solution and users with advanced web skills can author code directly into selected blocks or take over the entire page that they are editing.

This process allows a user to select where the new block will appear, the type of specific content they require within along with any customisations for the type of content that has been selected.
Additional Open Box Editing features:
Bespoke form builder - Allowing a learning manager to create a specific feedback form into any block area throughout the learning content that is then sent to an email address upon completion, this facility is ideal for creating any bespoke feedback, callback, survey or contact forms.
Integration with the multimedia manager - Ability to upload GIF and JPEG images and Macromedia Flash files and organise them in a Windows like folder system for use within the page editing solution.
Content document manager - Upload and manage Microsoft Word, Excel or PDF documents to your sites pages.
News manager - Allowing site administrators to easily add and manage latest news articles along with additional press release documents or images.
System templates manager - create your own page templates and block layouts to implement a standard look and feel throughout course content.
