										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Since Google introduced the all-new Performance Max campaign type, we admit we&#8217;ve been hesitant to try it.</p>
<p>Why? Because the new campaign type, which will be taking over from Smart Shopping, is very limited in what you can do to optimize and direct the campaign performance.</p>
<p>Essentially we give Google the budget, the assets, the audience and everything it needs and off it goes, self-learning based on your products, your website, your audience and your budget.</p>
<p>It uses all its channels, including the search network, shopping, YouTube and even local.</p>
<p>Reluctantly, we created a Performance Max campaign as a small test for one of our clients and were initially astounded by the results. So much so that we started to test performance Max campaigns for all our clients, taking the reserved and slow approach and slowly building it with a budget and more products.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s still early days, but with Performance Max taking over Smart Shopping come September 2022, we wanted to switch sooner rather than later to get data inside the account, with the fallback of our Smart Shopping campaigns still running in the background acting as a safety net.</p>
<p>One of the earliest signals we&#8217;ve received from performance Max is that it starts slowly, but the more extended amount of time you give the campaign to run, the more data it builds up and has to be able to make forward-thinking decisions.</p>
<p>Is this the most intelligent AI campaign Google has ever introduced? Possibly, but in reality, we&#8217;re in BETA mode. The actual results will be precise after 12 months of Live Performace Max, with millions of accounts worldwide opting to use performance Max so that Google can gather the data it needs to run campaigns effectively.</p>
<p>As we continue to run performance Max campaigns, we&#8217;ll keep you updated on our progress and the results over time. But one thing is for sure; Performance Max is here to stay.</p>

<p>They assist schools up and down the country and have a fantastic track record of helping schools that require staff coverage, protection, and health and wellbeing services.</p>
<h2>Background</h2>
<p>Education Mutual came to us with an outdated and awkward website that was difficult to navigate with no apparent structure or user navigation.</p>
<p>Initially, we sat down with them and mapped out a plan for designing and developing their new website. We discussed the different phases we would take from the initial discussion and strategy to design and development, the marketing plan, and beyond.</p>
<h2>Strategy</h2>
<p>We checked in with the client throughout each stage to ensure we remained on-brand and stuck to the initial brief.</p>
<p>We started by designing a wireframe of the new website, giving the client early access to work with us on the direction of the new website as we made changes along the way.</p>
<p>Once the wireframe was agreed upon, we started designing the website and had a quick turnaround.</p>
<h2>Results</h2>
<p>Since we launched the site, traffic has increased, enquiries have doubled, and the client has mentioned how they&#8217;re no longer ashamed to have school admins visit their website!</p>
<p>The next stage will be to continue with our phased approach by running paid traffic to the website to increase conversions and enquiries.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Here at Eventure, we&#8217;re always keeping tabs on the Google Ads industry, and recently we learned that Broad Match Modified is being sunsetted by Google in February 2021.</p>
<h2>What Does This Mean?</h2>
<p>At this moment, Google is improving the Phrase and Exact match types to be a little broader with how they trigger search terms.</p>
<p>One thing is sure Phrase will somewhat &#8220;replace&#8221; the broad match modifier match type with Exact having close variants and having a bit more wiggle room with the search terms they trigger.</p>
<h2>How does it Impact Us?</h2>
<p>We see this as a positive change. Having four different match types to contend with can be pretty exhausting management, having to assess search terms for each match type, control the keyword bids, and improve quality scores.</p>
<p>Not only the slightly reduced workload for management of our clients, but it also will be interesting to see what impact this has on the search terms report.</p>
<p>For us, we&#8217;ll be going through all our client accounts and making the changes from broad match modified to phrase match to make sure we don&#8217;t lose any data and keep important keywords running.</p>

<p>Interestingly, Google is starting to emphasise page and user experience much more. This is something we&#8217;ve been imprinting in the websites we design for years and continue to do so. Nevertheless, it&#8217;s great to see Google taking note of the crucial aspects of a website from a more technical perspective, as opposed to putting the majority of time into their SEO and PPC channels.</p>

<p>As always, we&#8217;ll follow Google&#8217;s guidelines and best practices to ensure all our clients comply with Core Web Vitals.</p>

<p>Meet our affectionately titled ‘Health and Well-Being CEO’, Thorin.</p>
<p>Thorin recently joined our ranks here in January and is already proving to be a popular addition to the team – so much so, that he has already won employee of the month  &#8211; sorry kettle!</p>
<p>Specialising in warm hugs, Thorin believes every day at the Eventure office should be kick-started with a cuddle and a biscuit before delving into your daily emails.</p>
<p>Currently, Thorin operates mostly within the Marketing department, ensuring all team members are offered plenty of hugs during the working day. However, his expertise is often shared throughout both development and design.</p>
<p>Since joining the team here at Eventure, Thorin has shown great dedication to his role and continues to contribute greatly to all departments.</p>

<p>If you are looking to conduct a successful email marketing campaign, you first
need to begin at the very start. The audience. It can be easy to ‘shrug off’
this tip, thinking ‘of course I know my target audience’, but how well do you
really understand your audience?</p>



<p>The messages that you send to your audience needs to be relevant to their
interests, and the only way to absolutely nail this is by having a thorough
understanding of your target audience.</p>



<p>Each audience member within your list is different, and naturally, they will interact with your email content differently. </p>



<p>So, why try and send them the same message? </p>



<p>With this being said, you may be thinking, how can I target my audience both effectively and within a timely manner? </p>



<p><strong>The answer to this is email segmentation.</strong></p>



<p>Segmenting your list into factors based on geographical location, gender, age and buyer persona can really help with increasing those opening rates!  </p>

<p>Like those gym buffs keep reminding us; consistency is key. </p>

through you’re beautifully presented portfolio. So, instead of poring hours

<p>A remarketing campaign is a type of text, image or video advert offered by google, and can be used across their display network. The ads are designed to ‘follow’ people who have visited your site but have left without purchasing. The ads remarket to the customer the items they browsed in your store. These campaigns are very useful for any company that regularly has customers abandoning baskets. This will remind the customer that they were looking for your product and encourages them to come back and continue shopping.</p>



<p>Did you know that 72% of all shoppers abandon their cart before completing their purchase? This is a huge amount of sales that you would be missing out on. With remarketing 26% of these abandoned carters return and compete their order! Remarketing ads are particularly successful if combined with a dynamic ad, this will show the customer ads specifically displaying the product they were looking at on your site and other products of that will be of interest to them.</p>



<p>There are also the option of adding a promotion to your remarketing ad’s, for example putting a 10% off code into your graphic ads to encourage the customer to come back and finish their purchase with this new discount to make it more enticing.</p>



<p>Another way to use remarketing ads is to encourage customers who have already purchased from your store to shop with you again. Ads showing other products they might be interested in or prompt them to re-purchase an item that runs out, are a good way to keep customers coming back to your store time and time again.</p>



<p>Overall remarketing ads are great for gaining repeat visitors, increasing brand awareness and recovering people who failed to complete a purchase.</p>

<p>Your paid ad rank relies on 2 main variables your Quality Score and Ad Bid. Your Quality score is based on a number of things that google ranks. Mainly your ad’s relevance to the keywords, the expected click trough rate of your ad in that search, and your ad’s landing page experience.</p>

<p>To help your search rank you need to focus on getting your site SEO Optimized.</p>
<p>Track your site in google search console or a program like Sem Rush. This will show you how search engines see your site. You will be able to view all of your crawl errors and penalties, allowing you to find and fix them. This will also be vital to tracking your improvements.</p>
<p>Improve your website&#8217;s performance and speed. There are many tools online that allow you to analyse the speed for your site. To make your site quicker you need to make it less &#8216;heavy&#8217; to load. Make sure to compress all images and optimise content. Google will penalise pages they cant get to load.</p>
<p>Make sure your site is dynamic and mobile friendly. Again this is a quality that google favours, and they will actively reduce the score of non-mobile friendly sites.</p>
<p>Google Search Console integration. Having your site linked to Google Webmasters Tools is said to help with your sites indexing. Even if that’s not the case, the tool provides valuable data you can use to optimize your site better.</p>
<p>Make sure you’re ranking for the right keywords. Dont be afraid to get more specific in your keywords. It is easy to think getting more impressions on wider range keywords is better but the higher your bounce rate will be too. You want to show your ads to people who want your product so being more specific will help them find you.</p>
<p>Finally make sure when your ad does come up in the search result that it says the right things, be sure to include your branding and keywords to maximise clicks.</p>
